The only thing you need to do is purchase it. I dont want to tell you everything. It will spoil it when you get it. :-*

Hello,
Perhaps is it fair to say that until now no true navigation tools exist. As yet Shipsim2008 doesnt simulate navigation, it does simulate manoeuvering, mooring, anchoring, in view of ship handling.

Hi there!!
buy the Ship Sim Pro version...If i am right... this has got a special navigation features and  is used for training sailors on their navigation skills or something like that!
Thats what i read on the ShipSim website about the Pro version!
But just to simulate boat sailing it is ok to have the normal version!
 Cheers Jonny

I think the manouvering and handling is excellent in SS08, but the navigation is very basic.

What I find very good with this game is the graphical realism. I like to embark on a long trip, watch the sunset from the bridge, have a cup of coffee, listen to the engine noise and just be in the atmosphere. My mind travels back to the time when I earned my living at sea. Maybe I am an old sentimental fool ;)
