Title: Will this play Ship Sim?

So I was makeing up my very short Christmas list and have a very big question. Will a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 gts 640mb Graphic Card or a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra The power supply my computer has is 650 watts. So the question of the day is? WILL IT WORK. ???

I think perhaps you need a better video card, Ship Sim...
Just kidding, those cards look sweet, you should have fun with either for years to come.. ;D

Surely  :D it will work. Nonetheless, the 8800GTS  (http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/11/06/best_graphics_card/) will shortly be declined in improved versions, so as to close the gap with the cheaper and more powerful new 8800GT.
Perhaps you should look closely?  ;)

Hi!.  Well all i can say, is according to the blurb on the case my system should not be running Ship Sim.  Using Vista is quoted as needing 2 gigs ram and an operating system speed of 2.4 gigs.  I played the demo successfully, so took a chance and bought the full game.  My Computer is AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 4400. 2.3gigs.  Vista.
Graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS.  The game works perfectly, and i've just spent most of today using the 'Editor' with no problem.  Regards, Brian

Sorry!, forgot to mention i only have half the ram specified. Ie 1 gig.   Brian

Hmmm... I have almost the same system and same 7600GS but the New york enviroment brings mine to it's knees... The strange part is, I can run Crysis in high detail, so you tell me, bad programming?

Yea....They expensive 2 so good luck getting one.

Have you tried changing the graphics settings for both the game and your graphics card?

All Im going to get for christmas is a graphics card. ;)
