Title: DEMO Not working - Questviewer error

I have downloaded the SS 2008 Demo and every single time i go to run it, I get the following error.

AppName: questviewer.exe    AppVer: 0.0.0.0    ModName: aco_particlemanager.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0    Offset: 000044b0

I have downloaded the latest Quest3D file, I made sure I DL DirectX 9C, Latest Video card drivers are installed.  I actually just re-installed Windows XP SP2 earlier.  I did every single Windows Update that was out there.  I have tried searching on the Questviewer site, but can not find any issues related to my problem.  Does anyone know of any problems with the ATI X1650 Pro running Ship Sim?

ok, after many hours and lack of sleep i figured it out.   For anyone with a new ATI card, BEWARE of installing the latest drivers.  I had to go back to 7.7 and it finally worked.

lol got the official version!!! :( its WAY better.
