In the next version wil we be abled to lower the life raft in to the sea if we need to abandon ship?
-
Nope! There will be a life raft, but like a static ship.
Cheers

Ah...
Big shame that. Oh well there's always future versions!

What does this mean exactly, that it's just a floating device wich we can bump into but do nothing else with it??
-
That means, you may have search and rescue missions with a life raft. Imagine you are within heavy weather, gale force, thunder storm, dark´nd rainy...- looking out for a small raft. Manoeuvre close to it to save the people waiting there for you...
Not enough?
Keep thinking!

Just like the saving of a drowning person in 2006 right?
Thanks for clearing it up!

Almost, but with more thrill of course.. 8)

EDITED ABOVE
Also i was just wondering about the morring operations. Will they slam the ship against the wall again? It's annoying that is.
-
Well that's because the sea was always calm during resue missions ;)
With the waves there can be a whole new level of excitment in the missions.
-
I think SS08 should have it incorporated. It would give a nice touch to missions and have more parts...etc. Too bad its going to be a slow flating raft though :-\ 8)

Big Shame that you can not abandon ship and enter the life raft :'(
-
Searching for that life raft would be even better if we had flyable helicopters!
