Tell me what you think...

Should Ship Simulator also support add-ons where you make the environment and add it into the game? :)

Hi JHB,

Did you make that island? May I ask how? or is it just an image to back up your idea. Anyway back to your Idea, I reckon it would be great if we could make custom enviornments, both real life and fiction.

On a change of topic, don't ya reckon this would be better suited in Ship Simulator 2008 - General Disccussion

Anyway back on topic again, yes I would like Ship Simulator to support enviornment add-on and also ship add-ons like VS, but that another topic.

Bon Voyage,

Lighthouse

Yeah I made it using a terrain generator called Terragen. Afterwards it have been textured in 3ds Max, and rendered into shaded textures. The game is Virtual Sailor 7 ;)

Here is another one: http://virtualships.org/screenshots/pictures/virtualislands2.jpg (http://virtualships.org/screenshots/pictures/virtualislands2.jpg)

I'm inspired by the new stunning game (which will be released this month) called "Crysis" which use even more detailed terrain.
