Title: msts and trainz
Post by: trains on October 28, 2007, 15:20:10: has someone noticed that in trainz, the steamers sound just like in train simulator, when movin ???

Shock! :o Not sure what point you are trying to make here? ??? Do you mean theyve actually copied each others sound file or have they just digitised some sounds and now they are similar?

they must have copied the sound file, but when the train is movin, the chug sound sounds like the scotsman or the golsdorf 380. real confusing :-\ ??? here, go on youtube and search train simulator and trainz and listen to the steamers.

They are bound to sound similar. They were undoubtedly recorded and/or synthesised in the same way.

If they are both realistic-ish then you would expect similarities, wouldn't you?
