has someone noticed that in trainz, the steamers sound just like in train simulator, when movin ???

Shock!  :o Not sure what point you are trying to make here? ??? Do you mean theyve actually copied each others sound file or have they just digitised some sounds and now they are similar?

they must have copied the sound file, but when the train is movin, the chug sound sounds like the scotsman or the golsdorf 380. real confusing :-\ ??? here, go on youtube and search train simulator and trainz and listen to the steamers.

I very much doubt they would steal the file and I doubt whether micromush would sell it...

They are bound to sound similar. They were undoubtedly recorded and/or synthesised in the same way.

If they are both realistic-ish then you would expect similarities, wouldn't you?

I think so, but if u find two steamers from diffrent places like usa and the uk, the trains will sound diffrent

Yes, but they are basically the same. I think they will have a generic steam sound and use it for all steam engines- msts has only generic diesel sounds as well

:)guys there is no need of stealing such a small file like that , everybody is a genius it can be made easily with a fruity loops software
