*Navigation lights

*Windsheild wipers

*moorning points

*More detailed helm

*higher detail

Height: 1.16 meters / 3.81 Feet

*********************************************************************************

All comments welcome, both productive and negitive. You may leave a request if you like or ya can PM me your request seeing that I feel way more familar with the program and ways of adding greater textures.

Well, I'll see ya then, oh btw keep an eye out for my next boat, however it wouldn't be on the forum for a while though, got alot of study to do for end of term testing, won't have much time to work on it during the next month, though in my free time I'll do alittle bit now and then for you guys. I'll still see ya all on the forum but not for modelling purpose.

Well enjoy the pics, More pics to come soon.

Bon Voyage,

no offence to you or anything, but doesn't the hull look more like a sailboat hull instead of a motorboat hull ??? ;)

Hi everyone, Firstly thanks for all the replies! It's great to here feedback on my designs.

Oh, Shipfan55... I'm glad ya like my design, I'll have ya know that It was your comment on the other boats topic page that made me add the detail... Come on a 3!! Well I'll have to agree with ya on that it wasn't that good, epecially the bow. So For the past several weekends I've been working on that hull and body endlessly, until yesterday that is ;D

Hiya Tman, No offence taken, However a hulls a hull, sure it may look more like a sailboat hull, but at least this ones rounded, take a look at my old motor boat, it's called, (NEW) Water fox, A boat w/outboard motor.

Pumaonegollo, when ya say the trunk in the center, do ya mean the one in between the seats or what the motor's resting on? If ya mean the center one in between the seats, I only added it to fill the space, there was just a gap between the seat so I added a little center console.

Here are some more pictures everyone, Enjoy!!

Bon Voyage,

Lighthouse: A hull will be desined differently depending on the speed of the vessel- look at the speedboat in the sim.

That said, 80hp wouldn't make it a racing boat so having a broader hull isn't so much of a problem. In most ports you will see day cruisers of this type, with this sort of hull shape. So don't worry about it.

Next time though, why not try yourself at a deep vee monohull with a wave piercing bow? Try and learn as many modelling techniques as possible. Point is, you've made a good start. Remember unless people design real boats for a living, it is better to refer to as many photos of the type as possible.

Keep it up, you are getting better.

Hi all,

Thanks for the advice Stuart. But like ya said  "In most ports you'll see day cruisers of this type"
Yes ya will as this is were I got my reference from. I was on the beach the other day and saw a boat similar and though to myself "I'll give that a go!"

Anyway, I'll let ya all know that I have begun my next project in draft. Let me say it's going to be a huge boat, accually it isn't a boat. It's a small cruise ship, way bigger than any project I've done to date. Wish me luck... Trust me with this model, I'm going to need it!

Bon Voyage,

I think it is great. I know how hard it is to make a hull in sketchup. Also he made a boat that actuly looks like a boat. ;) :D ;D

Hi all,

Firstly thank you all for your kind comments, I am glad you all like this lil' boat. But trust me I sure you'll like my new ship coming soon to the forum. It'll be my biggest to date!

Thassos, Thanks for your comment on my boat though I got to tell ya there is no way to incorporate this in to the Ship Simulator... yet... Though you can, if ya have it, import it into Virtual Sailer. Just send me a PM and I send ya the model.

Thanks again guys and keep em' coming.

Bon Voyage,

Lighthouse
