Title: Saving
Post by: CarlisleII on October 24, 2007, 22:32:53
Is it possible to save the game while in free roam? So that the ship is in the same port you left it in?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I don't know what version you are running but I can just use the third icon from the right, in the lower right hand corner. (the savegame icon  :P) So yes, you can.

Saving a game was introduced with patch 1.1 IIRC and I don't know wether that was for both missions and freeroam or if it was extended to freeroam too with the 1.2 patch/addon.

What version do you run?

AFAIK, there's no save function in free roam mode if you have version 1.1. Don't know what happens if you have the add-on patch.

If you have the addon, then there IS a save function in free roam. So yeah, they must have added that with 1.2 then.
