Is it possible to get waves larger than 4meters in free raoming???
-
Hi,
Well if the slider is at it's maximum, that means that's as big as they get!
There were people experimenting with editing certain game files, but if you reverse engineer the software you do not get technical assistance any more, so it's not recommended!

Oh btw, you don't have to make meaningless polls when you jsut want to ask a question.
-
What exactly do you mean...."meaning-less" polls :-\
-
Well, you made a poll, and the options are Huge waves and Large waves.. what am I supposed to do with that? you could have just made a normal topic. You are asking a question right? why the poll?
-
Well I am new to this forum and am not all 100% understanding how this site works. I dont really understand what the second ? thing is all about. So all I wanted to know is how to get bigger waves.
-
Well the waves do not get any bigger than this. Unfortunatly.
And it's ok if you're new, I was just trying to help, no worries
If you want to make a topic you should click the "new topic" button.
You used the "Post new Poll" button instead. Which is not meant to use just for asking a question or asking for help, but, well, as a poll.. where people can vote their favorite thing for example.
Like, you could have a poll and ask: "what do you like more, passenger ships or cargo ships?"
And then you could have those two options, and people can vote. If that makes sense. This doesn't apply to a question like "How can I get bigger waves".
So, no, unfortunatly you can't get bigger waves unless you "break the rules" and modify the game. Which, again, is frowned upon by the devs and will lose you your technical support.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Fred

Ok thank you very much ;D
-
There is a way to make bigger waves but its a unwanted thing because if you mess a round with your game you are no longer eligable for technical support.
But i can tell you if you want.
-
Not recommended, Nice poll btw.

I have done it but i have forgot the HTML for it. You can get them up to 60 metres but it gets a little unrealistic after a while! But a good height is around 7 metres! I will reply later with the HTML for you...

It can have un expected consequences on the gameplay.
Have a look at http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,982.msg9873.html#msg9873
or type waves into the search bar above.
Remember that this is not authorised by vstep and you do it at your own risk
