Title: Re radar screen

I have been playing some old SSE missions and a question I have had for years now is why is my radar screen so hard to read, it shows land well and are quite clear but the ice fields are almost visible to the naked eye, and so that is why I bump in to them every once in a while.
Is here some thing in my settings that I could adjust to make it easier to see.

Hi Bill,
I find that if I go into "walk round" view and stand in front of the bridge radar, rather than looking at the on screen radar, the ice fields are quite visible. For some reason the on screen radar has never shown ice fields at all, in the same way it doesn't show the island in Antarctica!!!!
