Hi guys,

Being a ship forum I thought perhaps some of you may be interested in our little project we have going. I setup a website which can be found here. Please let me know what you think, as any comments and suggestions are welcome.

That's a really well designed website that. I like it. What company did you use for the design?

Oh yes. Sorry. I forgot you told me a little while back you do web work.

My excuse is old age. You will find out one day. The problem is when you get on a bit, you find out and then forget whatever it was...

Just that I forgot about you doing web design. I know some of the stuff you showed me was really good indeed. You certainly know all that technical flashy stuff!

I know how difficult it is running your own business and I wish you well. You need to lots of people looking at your website design- with quality like that I think you should do well. Many web designers are **** and just buy dream weaver and think that's enough. Your designs are simple, clear yet complicated enough to do their job.

Sorry Stu I knew what you were talking about, just having a little laugh that's all :)

Thanks for your kind words, it has been a huge journey setting up my own business and can be a pain to get off the ground. I mean getting business in is the hardest part, having to get your name around. Things are working out ok though, slowly but surely  ;)

Slow is the best way. But be sure that when you have got XX work that you KEEP it and DEFEND it against anyone who will try and take it off you.

Oh dear... I wish I was good at taking my own advice.  ;)
