Ahhh master you lucky man you! I've always wanted my family to get an American Tug ;D
I went on the 41' at the Newport Int. Boat show and it is really really nice! Especially the stateroom layout, it's so spacious. If you end up getting one you won't be dissapointed.

Greetings,
My parents had a motorboat,8 meter.
However,i was all the time away with this sailboat.I started sailing at the age of 8.When i was 10/11,i was on a 16 meter, and later on this 28 meter.
Allways with the same owner. The idea was to go to the south-pole in the year 2000,with this vessel. But the owner past away,in 1997.
I had the luck,to be in Tanger,Agadir,Ponta delgada,the scilly's,Channel islands(europe)Spitsbergen(svallbard).Durring de years i knowed this man.This just a small grip,on the trips i was on,with this vessel.
The idea of the South-pole came, because the owner of that vessel, has been on 1 of the last belgian expeditions to the south-pole and stayed there for 1 year.He wanted to go back to his base, from that time.
(King Boudewijn base).
Now these days, you can still go on this vessel, durring week-ends and holidays. It is also a regular vessel in the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race. You can sign in if you want.
If you need extra info, mail or PM me.
Regards
Marc

My current boat is a 21ft Wellcraft Nova cuddy cabin with 188 Mercruiser I/O set up with downriggers and outriggers for sport fishing Lake Michigan. I was going to upgrade to a larger boat again to have a stand up head and twin engines but with gas prices going the way they are I guess I'll stick with the smaller boat.

I hope my kayak qualifies. I live right across the street from Oak Bay Marina so at least I've got lots of boats close at hand. This pic is out in Oak Bay looking back toward home from a little micro island. Only takes a few minutes to paddle out to it.

**Looks at picture**
Jealousy is kicking in... ;D ;D
-
Aww no reason to feel jealous, I share! Although I only paddle about in the bay, when the weather's nice at that - these are not serious kayaks at all, so I wouldn't want to push it much past that. I've been tempted to put a boat in at the marina across the street but the upkeep on a salt-water moored boat is not something I can take on really. Shame that because most of it would make a fine hobby really, and so close at hand too.

23 Foot? With 17 people? You're joking, surely? I've got a one a bit bigger than that (Fairline Corniche 32 foot) and we find 6 people is cramped. 17 would sink a 23 footer, wouldn't it?
I've also got a 22 foot Winner Tigress. That takes 4-6 people but 17 would sink it.
