Title: installing SS 2008

Pleas tell me if Windows 7 will or will not run the above game, I have tried to install it 3 times but it will not start to install.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Bill,Windows 7 will run SS2008 install it and run as Administrator.I have it installed on my PC and it runs perfectly.

Hi again Bill,are you trying to install 2008 from a previous PC,if so you have to completely uninstall 2008 first as the game will not run on two PC's.

Hi Bill if you read through the attached topics you will possibly get help with your problem. SS2008 plays well on machines with Windows7 software, particularly if you can swop the Questviewer files as mentioned in those topics.

Thank you, my main problem is I cannot install it on my new computer with my disc, after I put the disc in the computer drive it just sits there and does nothing.

I am stumped, as far as I know the disc is okay, is there any way to check it?.

What happens when you doubleclick on your cd/dvd-drive (Drive D:)  ?

Well that worked and I now have SS 2008 and new horizons installed on my computer.

Thank you very much guys, that last suggestion did it, now if I could just get SSE to work i would be a happy camper
