Title: Cannot get Main Menu

I have tried to set up a Profile ( very little directions) by entering a name, Selecting a region ( US) then NOTHING happens to allow me to go to the Main Menu. I have tried all combinations of clicking ( right/left) but the screen remain the same. I cannot even quit the screen without physicallt tunring my PC OFF.
 Any ideas?  Thank you
