When I am in the Multiplayer server list I see that Vstep is already testing the next oncoming 1.5.5 patch, BETA VSTEP Official Server X... appears in the list. So I think that it won't take a long time before this next patch will be released.
What kind of improvements and bug-fixes will this next patch contain?

Can I ask when a patch is released do I need to register all my keys again?
-
Not as far as i can remember:)

Thanks

"Already?"
The last Sneak preview video was released in November 2012.

Thats VSTEP for you ;)

I hope we can get support for newer drivers. Having to roll back to old Catalyst control centers gets old every time i want to play ::)

Thats a bit off-topic, there is a thread for NVIDA driver advice.

Couple of things. 1st i was only commenting that I hope the new update would support newer driver versions. 2nd Catalyst control center is the drivers for AMD graphics cards not Nvidia

NVIDIA/AMD...Whatever.
Sorry but I stand by my original comment. The thread is reporting the beta testing of the next patch in Multiplayer mode which has nothing whatsoever to do with YOUR problem with graphics drivers.
Now, as we are here anyway, I will give you some advice on the AMD graphics device drivers. Back in March When AMD released Catalyst drivers 13.1 there was a bug in the drivers and anyone who had updated to that version had issues starting SSE. The advice at that time was to roll back to version 12.1 to get SSE to run. Then 2 weeks later AMD realized their mistake and corrected it in a beta release of the drivers : Version 13.3 beta. These drivers solved the problem for everyone and on April 25th they ratified the release to version 13.4 and that was the end of the matter. There have been several updates since and I personally am using version 13.8 beta.
You did not say what version you are running or what you are rolling back to. But, any version from 13.4 and on has been tested and works with SSE.
The reason I made the assumption you were using NVIDIA is that there is currently issues with NVIDIA drivers with blocky ocean graphics. Again, there is no evidence that it is the fault of Vstep. NVIDIA have changed something in their current drivers and its the NVIDA users' turn to squirm and have to roll back to an earlier version 'bless them' :'(.

I'll have to check for updates. I was using the most recent drivers and having issues starting. Only way to fix it was to roll back to 12.1. I guess i will try the beta release and see how it works ;D

I don´t believe that do you gonna have big changes in your graphic with the Beta version.
this just fixes some games bugs and there´s are not any miss drive reading or speed recon.
cheers and good luck.
