Title: I AM GOING TO FINISH THIS SHIP!

I have many projects unfinished on google sketchup, and from trail and error i have learned how to make a good ship.

i can see it being really fun!! :)

Nice Ship, but the chimneys look a bit to flat and to thick to me. Just my feeling.

i don't know, it may take a while to do the window and i'll have loads of corsework and revision to do so i'm not sure.

What are you planning to use it for? Are you going to ask VSTEP if they would be interested in using this vessel for Ship Simulator?

No it wont be detailed enough for ship sim, i might try and find out how to put it on Virtual sailor.

I ve made a few changes, par example a figure head on the bow, i canged the tennis courts and added privite baloneys*sp* behind the third funnel, and a garden in front of the third funnel.
i will get pics of them soon.

Go File - export - 2D grapic - and save it like JPG! :) That will make the picture better! Print Screen makes in bad :P hehe

Ive added a few interior this one is the only one worth showing at the moment, and ive raised all the funnels to make her look slimmer.

If you ask Vstep if their interested, Maybe they can use those files and make it ShipSim 2008 able. I would ove to use that ship

Really good job on your ship!!

Why don't you look on the virtual sailor forum? I'm sure there's plenty people there that can help you out. There's a chance a few people here know how to, but over there, I reckon they most definatly know.  :)

wow impresive!, you know the RMS impretator was a hard ship in real, the weight on top was so heavy that the ship started to hang slant, so she was redocked and the funnels were made shorter, all the heavy furniture was removed, and replaced for bamboo furniture  ;D
still the ship was to hard to controll.

I have made an account on there but i will never let me post a comment on there, if you have one do you think you could put a link for this page on one of your posts? that would be goot :) (are we talking about virtualsailor.net?)

But if you type the game's name into google, you'll be sure to find it...

I don't have an account there though as I only tried VS for a few minutes and I don't really like it to be honest.  :)

A few interior updates i made a while ago but didnt put on here.
1. is the theatre lobby.
2. is the theatre itself.
3. is the grand salon.
4. is the 1st class lounge (which is unfinished)
