Title: Is it possible to control ship-to-shore gantry cranes?
Post by: Racker on September 03, 2012, 06:22:59
Hi.  I'm just wondering if there is a way to control the gantry cranes (the ones that move containers on and off the container vessels) in Ship Sim Extremes.

Thanks!

Too bad...do you know of any plans to add them?  I would be interested in that.

Thanks!

Back in early May, Vstep announced that they are making a DLC where you can control a bulk crane. They have not posted any new information on it though.

That's cool.  Hopefully they'll put in a gantry as well.  I actually work as a lasher at Port Elizabeth in New Jersey, so often I'm on the hatch covers helping guide the containers into place.  I'm curious as to what it's like on the other end.

Thanks again
