Title: Required speed

When just pulling away from the dock in Hamburg (going to Dover in fog ) the speed warning states not to exceed 10 knots. Understood. But while doing 2.7 knots it says please adjust to required speed. What speed is the required speed while moving away from a dock. I thought 2.7 knots is reasonable. Could someone please help me out. Hi Peter,
I shouldn't worry about that note to adjust to required speed. I think it is just to remind you about the speed limit of 10knots. I f you carry on with the mission I do not think it will re-appear, unless of course, you exceed 10 knots. ::)

The maximum speed in harbours is usually about 10 knots.
