Title: Please, point the way
Post by: SONAM on June 21, 2012, 06:30:51
Hi all,
I was away from SSE for some time, and now that I'm back I seem to have lost my way around the site.
So, where can I find and download extra/custom missions and stuff other than the nice 5 or 6 officially available packs?
best regards,
sonam

He was asking for links to SSE related material, not SS08 ;)

As sadsid has said, once you register your SSE key we'll be more than willing to help :) (although if your talking about downloading 3rd party mods I might aswell save you some trouble... there aren't any :P)

Hi
In Main menu Downloads this takes you to missions simply pick and D/L
the mission you want.
Once D/L complete in main menu Single Missions the mission you D/Loaded
will be in there.

I don't think that you can port over missions to a computer with no internet access.  The minimum system requirements for SSE state that a broadband Internet connection is required.  You could try Internet Connection Sharing,  this is a technique where you can connect a computer to the internet via another enabled computer using cat 5 network cables.

Its strange that you have a second computer so well equipped that it is capable of running SSE yet it has no internet connection.  Is it perhaps your machine at work?

Also.  Unless you have purchased 2 copies of SSE, the acceptable use policy does not allow you to install SSE on a second computer anyway.
