Title: What Cruise Line Will Build Bigger Than Allure

Allure of the seas is the biggest passenger ship with a massive 225,282tons and 1,181ft in length...

So what cruise line will be the first to surpass the 225,282ton Allure, maybe not anytime soon but the day will come. Royal Caribbean International could build bigger but there rival lines like Carnival Line, Disney Cruise Line may surprise them.

So what ship line will be the first to create a ship bigger than Allure?

It all depends on the economic climate. at the moment most line's are focusing on keeping the company afloat..

 think the idea of a Titanic 2 isn't all that smart, it's just celebrating when 1500 people died... :-\

One suggested a little while back that the law of diminishing returns would start to batter the cruise industry. And one was damned well correct.

I seem to recall being told that the current (2010 ish) break even point was 93% occupancy- ie a fully loaded ship at full prices made 7%... now we're seeing 10-20-30% reductions in fares and it isn't unusual to see X% empty cabins.

This isn't quite so bad when you have smaller ships- but the basic running costs of these mega ships is so high and they have finance obligations for maybe 15+ years on them that you could quite easily see another "wave" of cruise company bankruptcies.

The average top company executive isn't too smart and STILL hasn't woken to diminishing returns.... fools.

I am a titanic geek lol :D, but its to remember the ship it self that`s what the billionaire said, some of me say its good and other say it not. Its got to look like Titanic as much as possible.
