You made sure that they are compatible with your computer, it's not fun to get a supprice when you've opened the box :(
-
yeah i know they are, i know which one to get too.

you should also take a look at the port of your cards, you have the following:
AGP, pci & isa:
and you got pci-e (express) and pci-x
(http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/cooldrives/sata-pci-express-pci-card.jpg)
the upper white one is also an pci-e
so make sure if you bought a card that has an AGP slot for example, that you have that slot in your computer ;)
btw if i was you i should buy the **** blue card wich is $74.99 ;)

I made that mistake when I bought my 512 card. I bought the card and discovered that I needed a PCI-express slot, which I did not have. It was ok, though. A new motherboard and things were fine. I don't regret the upgrade.

dont worry i know exactly what graphics card i need,
Cheers for the help, Matt

oh now i notice something mine is just a DDR- PCI not express i looked closely without taking out the graphics card and my suits the PCI.
