I am trying to work out why I can't load this addon. I purchased SSE from steam and downloaded it, also Ferry and fishing boat, they are there when I run SSE.
So I purchase Cargo Boat it gives me licence key and seems to D/L but its only 9.0mb and when I run it , displays 'unable to locate SSE location', so I contact Support 7 days ago, not much from them yet, so I join Forum hoping to find someone else with same prob.
I also note that under my account 'orders overview' does not display the SSE and the 2 other products I purchased.
I am concerned that in places on the sites it says if SSE downloaded from steam you maynot be able to use Cargo Boat I can't imgine that I am reading this correctly, only half a product, please help me out, AND ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY HAVE SAME IDEAS AND PROBLEMS.
Thanks
Pete

Hello pjgwild,
If you bought Ship Sim Extremes from Steam, you must also buy the add-on from Steam. That's why it says 'unable to locate SSE location'. It is even cleary stated on the Ship Simulator website.
This Add-On Pack is not for Steam versions, Steam users can download it here
So, I think you should ask for a refund by emailing VSTEP about this.

Great at last, many Thanks for a prompt reply. I suspected that this was the case, my own mistake!!! But at last I know.
I guess I request refund from SHIPSIM Support, who are VSTEP ???
It was worth joining the forum last night, if only for this.
MANY THANKS AGAIN
Pete
