Title: Ferry pack not in Editor
Post by: creilly on January 10, 2012, 11:56:50
Hi, can anyone help me.  I've got the Ferry Pack installed and they show up fine in Free Roam but I can only see the ships that come with SSE Base Pack in the Editor unless I'm missing something.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris
When you go to editor load environment first then you can pick
the ferry you want from player list.(pic)

Hi Chris,

The ferries might have different names in the ME: Coromuel, Catamaran Ferry, Maassluis Ferry, Hamburg Ferry, etc.

Marty

Thanks Guys, yes the names are different in the editor - no wonder I couldn't find Albatross IV  ::)

Albatross IV is based upon the real ferry Coromuel, which was named for a wind that blows off the Baja peninsula into the Sea of Cortez.
The wind was named by Spanish seamen for the Lord Protector of England.
England was home to Samuel Taylor Coleridge whose poem “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” is about a guy with a dead albatross hung ‘round his neck.
So, you see, it’s all perfectly logical.

The need for a solid background in Spanish history and English literature is just one reason why so few have mastered the Mission Editor.
