Title: Well, I finally did it, I think I broke sketchup.
Post by: dexter7 on November 26, 2011, 13:09:45
Last night I loaded a model (the air cannon to be exact) it has around 2500 faces a I got 5-10 FPS (with fraps enabled.) The strange thing is, a 10,000 poly model (yep I said ten thousand) on a laptop with basically no GPU and a 2.5Ghz CPU run that model at 60+ FPS! But I recently installed sketchyphysics on the desktop and yet I installed the plugin on the laptop!
Can anyone help?

Well.. just install it afresh and don't do anything weird with it.  ;D

And of course make sure you start with a fresh boot, or at least your maximum resources available to you.

Btw, 10.000 is hardly anything yet.. I got a model that's near 1.000.000 polys. (yep, I said a million.)  :P   ;D
