So, let's get started..... I say 1 really important piece of equipment is something called "the true 22" and no there is no such thing as overboard when it comes to sound.

I agree there is no such thing as over board when it comes to sound. Hence why i think this would be a much much better option.

A Funktion One Dance stack....1 of the 16 sub woofers in this stack would put that sub to shame! ;)

What you're seeing in the pic is comparatively "modern". On ships, an empty barrel is cut into half and thoroughly cleaned. The Engine Dept. contributed by the way of making a stand and cutting the mesh to the right size. The Fitter would make the skewers. An Engineer officer once fitted the barrel with an air connection to let in compressed air at a very low pressure to fan the fire from the coals. The Captain ordered the barbecue coals. The cook took great pleasure in marinating the meats. If the deck outside the bridge was big enough then that was the venue for the party. I haven't seen a happier bunch on BBQ night ! Next morning the BBQ barrel was stored in a safe place. :D

Have to say that is the best looking BBQ I have seen for a ship, but as much as I love BBQ's if I could only choose one or the other it would be the coffee machine (at least the rest of the engine room after seeing how grumpy i get without coffee would choose the coffee machine!)
