Title: Patch doesn't accept game's lycence

  I got the game, installed it entered the lycence and all is ok. Now I downloaded the (big) patch, installed it and the game doesn't accept tha lycence. What can I do? :-[

What do you mean exactly by 'doesn't accept the licence'?

Have you tried registering your licence key into your forum profile?

It just says it is not a  valid licence. No I didn't register the liscence in the forum. Is it essential? And what happens to a guy that downloads the patch and doesn't even know that the forum exists? :o

Where did you buy the game from?  Was it the download, or the boxed version?

Registering your licence key allows you to access the support areas, without registration, you cannot access these areas :)

  I agree that you need the liscence to register in the forum, and I thank you to respond my questions even if I didn't register mine. What I don't undertsand, and this is the point, is why a licence that works in the game, (that now even opens whitout asking it anymore) doesn't work at all in the patch? And as I see in messages, other people is having this priblem also?

I can see you are having problems, but you still haven't told me where you bought the game from.  I will need this information if I am to assist you further :)

  I didn't buy the game. I installed it from a DVD given to me by  a friend, and I don't know where he baught. For sure he bought a downloaded version.

Ok, that's why you are having problems.  I would suggest that you uninstall that game and buy the official version.

The easiest way to do this is to buy the download version from the Ship Simulator site:

www.shipsim.com

Using someone else's game is not a good idea, their licence key is not meant for you.

If a Guy doesn’t know the forum exists, how does he know the patch exists?
