Where does one contact support to get a refund. I purchased from this site, but game won't load at all (other having the same problem). I emailed support, but that was days ago and no one has replied.
I bought 2006 and now Extreme, guess this will be the last purchase (or recommendation), but prefer to get refund than to simple tell credit card not to honor the payment.
Thanks for any help.

Well Maybe you should post your DXDiag - see if we can idtentify a problem?

you beat me to it!

Greek, you also must register your keycode in your profile. ;)

What a disappointing answer, I will hopefully assume you are simply someone on the forum, I'd hate to think that is the type of answer a customer service person would give. Besides, my question, which you were free to ignore, was how to get a refund.
The same question I asked has appeared on this board, with no answer that I could find, even when searching. If it is there, a helpful answer would have been to point it to me.
My life does not revolve around this board, if someone at the company wants the DXDiag they could have asked me to provide it (not make a pathetic and unhelpful statement as above).
I sent an email to Support, with no error message that it needed any special numbers, I'd like to think they would respond, isn't providing service for a product a reasonable expectation?
Someone did finally respond about registering a keycode, but as I posted elsewhere I am unsure what that is as there was nothing on my receipt with that terminology. If the keycode is the very lengthy ID that's fine, but I actually found that by accident in my account, again not on the receipt.
A person who lives on these boards may know exactly where everything is and assume everyone must know because they know, it doesn't work that way. Last time I was here was when I bought the 2006 product, thought I'd give it another try. I don't blame anyone but me, I clearly made a mistake. I guess it was unreasonable to expect an email response to an email request for help.
Don't want to get into arguements with anyone (don't care anyway if I don't live up to someone's expectations on this board). I just want to know, how does one get a refund for a game that does not work (as evidenced by the same complaint from others on the board) that's all. If you know, I'd appreciate your help (I suppose I could just tell the credit card company not to honor the payment, but hate to do that). If you don't know, please feel free to ignore my post.
Thanks

I'm sorry, but I don't think Vstep does refunds, but I could be wrong

The place to ask for a refund would be the same Customer Service that you say you have emailed.
However, you have done little to try to get SSE to work:
You have not registered your serial key on the forum—even though you claim to have found it.
Without registering, you do not have access to the support boards where help is given, and you have not proven that you have a legal copy of SSE.
You have not complied with the request to post your DxDiag so that we can begin to try to help you.
It is here, on this forum, and by volunteer users, that technical help is given.
VSTEP’s Customer service is only able to help in technical matters when they are given detailed information—such as a dump file.
Otherwise they depend upon information passed to them by the Moderators based upon what you post here on the forum.

I'm sorry to be the one to say it but that is incredibly rude.
The only pathetic thing around here is your tone of attitude. You obviously couldn't give a damm about a game if you just want a refund and not to accept other peoples help.
Many people on these forums have had similar problems and would be more than willing to help and see if there was an error.
But it's your choice if you learn to accept other people's good will in helping or you can by all means be self centered and just complain about everything.
Thanks for any help.
That's all I'm saying, don't ask for it if you can't accept it...
Quite right as mvsmith mentioned:

That is all :)

Greek,
If you can't get the game to work with the help of forum members, please send an email to info@shipsim.com with your order details. They can give you a refund. Note: If you bought the game via Steam, no refund is possible.
