Hi,
game crashes right at the end of the initialization.
Crash dump tells something goes wrong for the QuestViewer.exe thread accessing virtual memory.
See dump attached.
That error came up after patching the latest one and persists after uninstalling and redownloading(GamersGate) & reinstalling - GG seems to have updated to the latest version, SS.exe details shows 1.4.0.0.
any suggestions ?

Hi Wiper,
Would you like to register your copy of SSE?
You can do it by accessing your profile.
-
done.

Since I am not a developer, I am not able to analyze your dump file. I would recommend you to uninstall the game using this program:
Revo Unninstaller:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/start_freeware_download.html
It's completely trustworthy!
After you uninstalled it, reboot, and then install it again.
Let me just try to understand it better. You downloaded the game from Gamersgate, not VSTEp website?
-
Correct.
Purchased and downloaded from GamersGate.
Ok, tried out that uninstaller method with revouninstaller but it did not help
Only difference so far I noted was that with the revo tool I was able to uninstall two Reg entries for two DLC packs (ferry and sigata)
Well I'd say it would be nice if one of the devs take a look into that dump I already attached.
Isn't this the right place for posting it ?
-
Ok!
Well the right place is the technical support area, that's why I asked you to register your copu of the game, so you can have acess to that area.

Oh ic, thats what (and why) I didnt find originally on the board.
Thanks.
