Title: Message Error
Post by: Bullets on August 31, 2011, 18:10:18
:'( Can you help I shipped today again and restart the 3rd mission oil vessel that I must take a pic of. As normal when you get close enough to the vessel you will receive a message that you are close enough and that you only got a short time to take the pic before they see you.

I do get that message and at the end of that message also standing "message not found" See screen shot image for details.

 The oil spill was there untill I was told to go closer with the RHIB, after that the oil spill was gone, no where to be seen. But my question, is it normal to receive "message not found" at the end of the messages that I receiving.

Hi Bullets,

I have had that problem too on some notifications in some missions. It's rare though.
But it never affected the outcome of the mission itself as long as I keep doing what needs to be done.

Open the pull down menu on it where the more elaborate waypoint info is about what to do on a certain objective or waypoint, that should still be there. I noticed that only the temporary notification has this message not found error on rare occasions.

If you take that picture in a similar fashion that I did, it should just work out fine.

I made a quick clip of it, to show you how I did it, it's in dutch, but you know what those notifications say anyway I reckon. You can see that it goes through just fine when I then take the pic and turn back to the RWIII.

Hope that helps.

You're welcome!

I just used the button though, not the F key.. and it's pretty much the same action that it triggers, it shouldn't matter, but it can't hurt to try!!
