Title: big big problem!!!!

hi! i'm luca... i'm from italy so my english will not be good. i have a big problem. i have bought in london a dvd of ship simulator 2008. i have installed it and it was working.. all ok. but later, i had some problems so i had to unistall ship simulator 2008. now i try to install another time but is not working.. i can only see a blue windows.. help me!! thanks and bye. luca

Hello Lucab,

Welcome to the Forum.

Are you sure all the hardware in your computer is working normally ? Hope there are no problems with the graphics card. What you mention can happen if there is some problem with the graphics card. I hope your computer has all the System Requirements of SS 2008.

Please also register the License Key of your copy of SS 2008 in your Profile in this Forum. You will then be able to read all the posts in all boards of the Forum.

HI! first- my ss2008 was working but now is not working in the same pc!!, so i think that the graphic card is not a problem.
second- the etitor is working normally so i cant understand why the game in not working...
third-my license say that i can download the game only one time.. is this the problem?? so i can't unistall and install another time in my pc?? thank's and bye bye lucab

Hi lucab
You can download the game as many times as you need to .
What it means is you can only have the game installed on 1 pc you can install/remove as many times as you want. if you want it on another pc you would have to buy another copy for that pc .

Hi lucab, maybe your computer has found a remnant of the old game..Have you tried unregister.exe ?
You can find it in C/Program Files/Vstep/ShipSim2008/Unregister
After you unregister, you should be able to install and register again..

i had the same problem and did what Saltydog said and that worked for me
