One quick way to find berths for Latitude & Vermaas is to try placing them in the Mission Editor.

You may try to place them there, but the main thing is how to get there.  ;)
You may found a good spot to dock the Vermaas or Latitude but maybe it's surrounded by shallow water.

That is certainly true in Rotterdam and SF. After placing the ship in the ME, you need to run that non-mission to see if you can get it out to the sea.
That’s still quicker than sailing those big ships around looking for a place and trying to dock it.

Often in updates, depths in harbors are adjusted. You might want to wait for 1.4 before you spend a lot of time looking.

It's a nice job to maneuvre the VERMAAS into Hamburgs largest dry dock! It's Dock Elbe 17, which is one of the largest in Europe and very often called by "QM2", other cruise liners, tankers, bulkers and container ships. So the VERMAAS suits into it as shown below. The LATITUDE is too large, unfortunately.

well i wouldint say latitude is too large. both are 314 m.

but latitude has a very deep draught.

yaeh.

anyway, i tried docking vermaas in that dock in hamburg today, but when i spawned, it read insufficient depths.

it appears that vermaas is a bit too large for hamburg.

btw, will oceana fit in hamburg?

In real she isn't. Many somewhat larger container vessels calling at Hamburg, but to be honest not fully loaded. But it was no problem for me to maneuver the ship into the dock. I've started just one mile above the dock with zero meter under the keel. But in fact the ship could move as usual down the river and into the dock. :2thumbs:
