I am in the mission editor, and I cannot find out how!

If you think about it, a barge is dead, (i.e. no engine) so it cannot be a Player ship or an AI ship, so it has to be a static ship. If you click on "static", "Ships" you will find there are five differing barges you can use. Even though it is classed as "Static" it can be connected to a tug or the push boat and towed or pushed as in reality.
I hope that clears it up for you.

Traddles.

Hi CoastGuarder,

If you have not yet done so, I suggest downloading the Mission Editor Notes:

As Angus said, barges are static ships, and are found by clicking the Static tab in the Entity creation panel.
Information on connecting barges in the editor is found in the section titled “Barges — Herkules Atlas” on page 18.
