Hi
I updated my Graphics Driver to the latest version couple of days ago (first thing I did after setting it up)
The next day I went to play a game, and it came up with a message stating for best performance use the most up to date Driver - fair enough I knew that. when I checked the NVidia site, it gave me the same update link and said I had a older driver (the one on the disc that came with the card) so I updated it again...
today I went to play a game and got the same message :/
Why is it not saving the update?
Not sure if ti is related but the computer also has four Windows updates which it is refusing to install (these were before I updated the Graphics Card) - is this related?
Many Thanks,
TFM

Which version of windows are you using? 7? vista? XP?
I've had trouble with XP drivers when 7 came out, because for some reason nvida seemed to think that XP had simply dissapeared, but since i moved to 7 i've had no issues what so ever, well, apart from after i installed SS08 my computer bluescreens every now and again, but thats fixed.

I am on Vista
I even tried a custom instal selecting the "fresh driver install" of the New driver and it still didn;t work
it also has updates for NVidia Phsyx and a few others which sometimes fail to install (according to the finals tatus complete box when installing) at all... :/

Have you ran the install in "admin" mode?

Have you ran the install in "admin" mode?
Ahhh - no
good idea :)
Thanks

OK - I have tried that
Somethings are not installing though:
NVidia Installer Failed:
NVidia Updater - Not Installed
PhysX System Software - Failed
3d Vision Controller Driver - Not Installed
HD Audio Driver - Not Installed
Graphics Driver - Installed
3d Vision Driver - Not Installed
So the only thing that has installed is the Graphics Driver...?
Will find out later if it has "stuck" or not though

Update:
Its forgot about the drivers again... :/
