Hello SSE'ers :)
I've been sailing around in SS 06 and SS 08 for ages and now consider purchasing Ship Simulator Extremes. Before I make my decision, multiplayer being my favorite feature, I would really like to know whether people are actually playing multiplayer in SSE or if it's 'dead' just like SS 08?
Are there people online around the clock? or only at a specific time of the day (GMT)?
Does the server list work the same way as SS 08? (just showing how many players have visited the server since the last reset - instead of showing if anyone is actually ON the server)
Will appreciate the answers.

Hi Lorrie, welcome..
The numbers of players on MP are not so large lately, to be honest the Extremes servers are almost as empty as the 08 ones..People don't seem to be interested.. the Dover server is the busiest (18.00-24.00 GMT)
Different to 08, the servers now show the actual number of people online..
Another good feature is you can turn damage on/off on your ship, so you can't be sunk by other boats..
You don't need to worry if damage is on or off on the server..
Buying Extremes is still worthwhile.. ;)

BDW Dover server need the ferry pack to play

It sounds dissapointing if Extremes is just as 'lightly' trafficked as 08. And if I have to purchase the Ferry Pack to play on the busiest server, well, then I don't know. But if you say it's still worthwhile - then I'll think it over ;)
Thanks for the replies you two!

The Dover server is without the ferry pack.
