I could handle that heat with a lifetime supply of Coca Cola.  ;D

VS, coke doesn't quench your thirst though- it leaves concentrated syrupy muck in your body- making you feel more thirsty (and thus more likely to buy more coke and so on).

Tea- slightly milky (or lemon) is the best thirst quencher.

Incidentally, black tea is a MUCH better drink to have with vindaloo than say a pint of Kingfisher.

Two similar cases- hard to believe but true. If coke was good for quenching thirst it would have been invented LONG before.

Tea actually makes me more thirsty than Coke because it's a warm drink.
And coke is my life drink. Without coke the world would be a dark place...

Hoy,
To drink a cold drink (Coca cola, lemonade a.s.o)when its hot outside,is not realy the best way.
Drink hot tea, look what people do in the arabic states, hot mint tea.If you do want to drink something cold, take cold coffee best without sugar.
regards
Marc
