I got myself a new place to rent and it's fancy, then something came to my mind.....Sims 2. So I have the disks but when I put in the first one I get my first house warming gift, it says...'A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file "D:\Support\sv\l?smig.txt" from the media.Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel installation?' So far I have not found a way around it, and I feel really inspired to simulate life . Does anyone know how to work with this problem?

Hi Third Mate,
If I remember rightly I had some issues installing too...I think what I might have done in the end is carried on installing another pack or something, and it seemed to work.
Sorry I can't be of more help - Maybe a search on Google might help?
Kind Regards,
Jack.
EDIT: It also might be worth trying compatibility mode if all else fails (right click on desktop icon -> properties -> Compatibility.

Ahh, look at that, It did work  I also had to clean the CD No. 1 as well, now I think there's no reason to blame Windows 7 any more for this one :captain:
