Title: Saitek Yoke, Rudder Peddles, Quadrant
Post by: lenhardt on April 02, 2011, 16:44:04
I have v1.3.5 and I cannot map any key commands to these products. Versions prior to v1.3.5 I had no problems. What am I doing wrong? The Saitek products work fine with MS Flight Simulator.

Thanks to all who reply.

Hi Bill.Excuse me for asking a silly question but have you tried to configure the controls by clicking on options, interface and then ship controls.I have a Saitek and Throttle Quadrant and it works for me.
Regards Jim.

Jim,

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes I have went to interface and ship controls. I have set the Saitek up before but for some reason since 1.3.5 it won't let me. After I've identified let's say camera 1 and press a joystick button nothing happens. Like SS doesn't see any of the Saitek joysticks. Yet my computer and FS sees them fine.

This should have been a simple task since I've had it working prior to the patch.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Bill

Bill

Instead of mapping in SSE - why not use the Saitek profile editor to map the keys as required?

I use an X52 and steering whell - maps ok for me in SSE so can't really help with you that way

I doubt that would help.   I use a Saitek X52 Pro and have had no problems since 1.3.5

Try a complete re-insallation of Saitek Bill.
Jim.
