Hey guys,
how do you steer your ships? Until now i did it with the keyboard only which worked hmm let's say "well" so far though it wasn't a glance.
Yesterday i tested the jetski for the first time but it's nearly unhandable with the keys.
I have a Saitex X52 Joystick here but i don't have any clue if it's useful for shipsim and also don't know how to set it up.
Any help and tips would be appreciated.

The X53 (like any other joystick !) is quite usable in shipsim.
If you want, you can try a setup similar to the one I use (mine is a X45 but it must be quite the same!):

About how to set it up ... Just use the "controls" menu and you should not have any problem, the UI is quite intuitive .... !
