This is my Oakley class lifeboat, called Lloyds II. She was built from scratch by my grandfather and she has a sister that lives in the actual lifeboat station. This model was R/C 20 years ago, but then it was cased and the electronics removed. I restored her last year, but the planks were falling apart so it was for the best to put her back in a case and remove the electronics again. She's very heavy, over 1m long, and has her own launching carriage.

The Manger Of The Harwich - Hoek van Holland gave them to me(He's My Friends dad) (Paul Newbiggin) ...... so i dont know Sorry :-\
Wierd ..... My best mate's dad works at Harwich VTS .... my other mate dad works for Stena ...... and My dad is a Scarborough Taxi Driver ....... hmmmm

I get the kits from a local hobby store which also is a Revell model importer.
I have built and painted every single model. ;)
