Title: stern ramp now working on the por?

do the stern doors now open on the POR with the new patch or do u need the ferrypack? I assume the new controls are for the stern doors

You can even sail with the opened stern ramp of the PoR. You can also play with the PoR if it is like an LPD (Landing Platform Dock) like the Dutch Navy's Hr.Ms. Rotterdam L800.

Yep that's correct. But to lower them, your speed needs to be less then 2 knts  :)

In fact its should not be possible sailing with opened stern ramps and opened bow doors. Otherwise you will get disasters like the one with the Herald of Free Enterprise.

I think it should be possible to close the ramps at any time and only open them at less than 2 knots. So if you are leaving the port and forget to close the ramp you have to slow down to do this. It would be more realistic and a lot saver if you could close it at any speed.  !:)

Ahh bit the Bow Visor can be opened in real life in port, since its not the main door ;)

I am pretty sure the Cezanne is going faster then 2 knots when she opens hers...

I've given up with steam, getting a different version and using my steam key for it..

Steam = nice idea, though they need to keep up..

now i wasn't moving...i started the dover mission and instead on leaving i tried to open the stern ramp.

The 1.3.5 Update is on STEAM, all you have to do is log on to steam and let the magic happen
