Title: Fishing trawler won't come into Sydney
Post by: kestasjk on March 07, 2011, 02:46:02: In core mission 8 I go out, the trawler tries to flee, I catch it and board it, it follows me back to sydney, but when I get there it stops dead, doesn't appear on the ecdis, and can't be towed either.

I've attached a screenshot of me trying to tow this thing on full power but going nowhere, and I've tried to let it follow me but it won't.

I've also gone back and retried it and this is the second time this has happened

Post by: kestasjk on March 10, 2011, 14:19:46: How long should I have to wait? It didn't follow me before I got out of sight of it on the ecdis screen, and since getting to the destination nothing seems to be coming

All I can tell you is that it works as I described in V1.3.5 build 1066.

If you have installed the 1.3.5 update and it still does not work, I can only suggest that you send a PM to the author of the mission and ask for an explanation.

I found the way to complete this mission was to move my vessel forward about 5 ship lengths then save the game. Load the save game, and wait a minute or so then the trawler will start to move.
