Title: Ship dead in the water
Post by: jnight on February 20, 2011, 09:02:27
Once in a while a ship, no particular one I think, will simply stop responding to the throttle. It just comes to a sudden stop, and only a save reload will restore function. Grrrrr....

I know SSExtreme has a small user base, so I am cool on cutting the Dev dudes a break. But man, I hope this is stabilized soon. Any game that makes one think of Big Rigs has got some issues! lol

It may be possible that you have been 'running aground'.  There are indicators just abouve the chart giving the deapth of water below your ship fore & aft.  Use these indicators in conjunction with the chart colours and numbers to keep in deep enough  water  for your class of vessel.

Hope that helps.

I have had this issue while I was playing in my own Multiplayer server. I think it's a bug.
