Title: Antwerp Harbor
Post by: BelgianEvo on January 30, 2011, 03:07:43
Hello,

I work as a tugmaster in the harbor of Antwerp, and i would like to know if there are any future plans to include Antwerp Harbor in the game.

It would be very nice because i know this harbor inside out :)

Also a Voith Tractor would be nice in the game because this is the only propulsion i work with :-)

Best Regards

is it possible to make an addon to this? Antwerp is also one off the major harbors in the world. Tugships with voith propulsion would be a very nice addon!

Hello,

I agree to add Antwerp harbor.
That could be done on the same map of Rotterdam, so that include Vlessingen, the Shelde river and why not extend the chart to Zeebrugge and Oostend.

It's just an idea,,, but why not the province Zeeland from Holland, adding the port of Antwerp and Rotterdam,, and connect them together,,, its mayby the same sice map like Dover-Calais,...
Adding some more inland vessels,,

Or why not the whole country instead? Or maybe even the whole world??
Really, I wish people would understand how much work it would take and also having a PC with sufficient power to actually run it... Trust me, you would need to have a PC which would be near to a NASA computer.

It would only work if they would add locks to the game, otherwise it wouldnt really be the same thing.

Locks! Now there's a thought, Canal Simulator 2013.  I'd buy it.

Hello,
do you know this one?
It`s a new ship-simulation game on the german Rhein. It is yet not perfect, but near by. You can handle the Ships an the crains. There is yet no MP, no really towing but you can modding ships (blender or something) and take the ships into the game. the first update was there after 14 Days. The Progammers hear, what the Forum say and the realistic sailing becomes more and more real.

Pepe, I guess you are talking about River Simulator 2012. That game have been discussed about here at the forum for a short time ago:

The you tube videos say the title is Ship Simulator 2012 (in a strangely familiar font).  and the gameplay looks very SS2008.  So it should be great.

Sydmichel, it is the same game. Looking to Astragon's site so is it the same game with another name so River simulator 2012 and Schiff Simulator 2012 is the same game with two different names.
