Sorry to hear that Lars. It's not a good time for that. Well.. it never is, of course.
Are they affiliated with 'SelektVracht' as well? They usually take care of parcels for me, and the bloke who handles my area is a really nice guy too. Would be a pity to see him dissapear.
Anyway, I wish you lotsa luck in finding a new job!!

Sorry to hear you're losing your job.
Are you a member of a trade union? If so, you should seek advice from your union rep ASAP to see where you stand. You do have employment rights, although this would depend on how long you have worked for your employer, and what is in your employment contract.
I did some digging around and came across a website which specialise in Netherlands Employment Law (http://www.avrio.net/540.0.html):
Are employees protected in the event of a sale or a purchase of a business?
Yes.
If so, what rights do employees have and what can they do about it?
Yes, as a result of the take-over of an enterprise the rights and obligations applying at that point in time to the employer in that company deriving from a contract of employment between him and an employee working in that company are legally transferred to the party acquiring the company.
Nevertheless the employer continues to be personally committed for another year after the transfer alongside the acquirer for compliance with the obligations in the contract of employment and which arose prior to that date.
So for this reason you should seek advice from your union rep (if you have one) or advice centre such as Wetswinkel.
Hope this helps
