hi everyone
i have purchase a new laptop over the internet. The specs are as follows:

Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5089
 
PROCESSOR*

GRAPHICS ENGINE*
ATI® Mobility Radeon™ HD 4250
GRAPHICS MEMORY*

3GB DDR3 memory
HARD DRIVE*
320GB HDD (5400rpm)
Audio and Video
DISPLAY SIZE*
15.6" widescreen

HD TruBrite® LCD Display
DISPLAY RESOLUTION*
1366x768 (HD), 16:9 aspect ratio, Supports 720p content

I just want to know if these specs would be enough to run SS08 or not Thanks.

Hi electric underfloor ! And welcome on this forum.

According to the specs you wrote, you should have no problem to run Ship simulator 2008. The graphics card might no be enough for the latest Ship Simulator Extremes, but for the 2008 version you should not have any problem.

Hey electric underfloor, you have purchase the same laptop like me  :o. And i enjoying SS08 without any problems. Hope you get your laptop. But just as Denis said, you won't be able to play SS Extremes.

I see you got ATI processor and graphics card. There not really as good as Intel or Nvidia. Oh well enjoy SS2008(Very good game)
