Title: Just Purchased SSE A few Questions

Hi Captains,

I have just purhcased SSE, having been a big fan of the 1st ever shipsim. I have the following Sony Laptop just purchaed with the folloqing spec.

I unstalled SSE last night and on first running came up with several error messages, and SSE would not load, I then re booted the system and re stared SSE it loaded but seemed to take several mins for start up. Is this normal for starting the game, should I re install the game due to the errors? Or leave it as it is?

Once in the game I loaded the Lincence key etc and picked the 1st mission, this was the 1st part I am worried about, it took several mins for the game to load I would say 3-4 but will time it next time. Once in the game game play was fine. I quess my question are if this normal based on my laptop settings. I have only just purchased the laptop, would any one know if there is something on the Sony that  I should do to turn on for Max performance??

One last thing how to you log into the support fourms? I have a lincekey but could not work out how?

You are registered and have axecess to all area's  ;D

Since the update 1.3 a lot of member's myself inclued have longer loading time's
and lower fps.
If you have any questions about you'r laptop put in tech support vin_sun or one of
the other's will gladly help you.

Hi I purchased last night will I have the latest version including 1.3 or will I need to download?

Hi Forest (or E.A.Skipper),

I observe that you have patiently typed out the specs of your laptop here. There is simpler way to do this and it is by attaching the Dxdiag of your computer. Please see the post below where you will find guidelines to do this.
