Hey guys. I was just doing a bit of web surfing, finding out more about ship terminology and such... anyways, I happened across a really neat web site and I thought some of you here here might be interested to know about it as well:
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/
You can see a Worldwide Marine map, click on a location and it will bring up the area to see. You can see a live map representation of Ports from all over the world. You can search by vessel and track it, see where it's at currently, search by port, zoom in and out on a map, set map display to various modes as Map, Satellite, Hybrid, Terrain. Set the legend to show names of ships, show certain types of vessels, etc...
There's also a really nice picture gallery of various ships. Cool stuff! :)

Hi Don,
If you use the Search box in the upper right, the current board is the root for the search. That can miss a lot.
It is better to use Search on the left end of the top toolbar—next to Help. It gives you much more control.
Here’s a quick example of using it to find help on missions:

Regards,

Okay, thanks for the tip.
I did try the search feature a few times already, and I guess that right-side search feature may have threw me off a few times as I didn't know it just searched only the current forum I was in.
So in future for more a thorough searching I'll use the left-side Search option.
Cheers.
