Title: How to make a SketchUp bulbous bow?

Hello all,

I don't know if anyone has questioned this before in this forum but can anyone explain me how to make a bulbous bow?
Today and yesterday I went experimenting with this and this is how far I got:

1: Was my first try, but the front and the upper part were wrong, so I think it's screwed up  :-\

2: Is my second try.

I have looked all over the internet how to make a smooth bulbous bow, I tried to look on other models, but no succes.

Can someone help me with this?

Mr. Robville wrote an excellent tutorial on how to make air vents. Perhaps you can use a similar technique  :)

Thanks for the kind feedback Ballast, but this isn't precisly what I am looking for.  :-X

I have to say that you make a buld in a simlar way :)

Make the shape then draw half circels betwen the point conect them and you got an buld I will try to explain bether when I have more time :)

Do you mean like the vertical one like in 2 of the picture?
