Title: Install Problem

I've just bought a new PC. Windows 7, Core i7 2.93GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX460.
 
I have installed ShipSim 2008 (which ran fine on my previous 4 year-old PC with no problem) and it installs and runs ok.

I then tried to install Extremes on the PC (never installed on earlier PC) and cannot complete the install.

The message being shown on the progress bar is:-
Execute: C\Users\...   ...\AppData\Local\Temp\nsn7908.tmp\verification.exe /q:a

The program seems to hang there and I need to exit it via Task Manager.

I'd be grateful for any advice on resolving this.

UPDATE: Sorry - please ignore this. I tried several times getting the above result and used Task Manager to exit the installation program. Having just looked at the PC again it showed the Extremes Icon and when I tried to run the program it seems to run correctly. I'm puzzled but it seems to work?!

I trust you have applied the latest update 1.2.2  . Since you have not mentioned whether your version is a DVD from Vstep or from Steam I hope you are aware that the method of installing the update varies from one another.
