Hi guys

Can I check with anyone that can I use my current Ship simulator 2008 (version 1.0) to install shipsim 08 new horizons?

Yep, you can install New Horizons directly after SS08 v1.0  :)

and welcome to the forum.
Try to follow the steps described in the attached pdf file.
Then you might have luck.
All needed patches are still downloadable at www.shipsim.com

Hi again

But I do not have the cd key to upgrade my current version to 1.4.2 (I've tried using the cd key for 1.0 and it didn't work), I have the setup file for 1.4.2 though. Sorry for troubling you guys.  :-X

Hi toopidity
I you'r copy of new horizon is legal it will have a key with it when installing it will
ask you for it then you can update patches.
But if you try to install pirate copy you will have problems.

Just go to your install folder and click on Unregister.exe
After that install all as suggested in the upgrade path pdf file.
You don't need any serial key to install the upgrade.
If nothing helps send a Personal Message to Mad_Fred with the serial keys which you do have, including a proof of purchase.
I'm sure Mad_Fred will help yu out.
Never place your serial key on the open Forum. Really, N.E.V.E.R.

May I know what is contained inside the SS 08 CE? Is it a combination of SS 08 and SS 08 new horizons? I'm quite confused, and can I purchase my SS 08 game through shipsim.com during weekends via paypal? Pardon me for asking you guys so many questions.  ;D
